The qualification stage of the Matrix Challenge officially opens. You will now be able to complete the qualification challenge on our website:
Officers from the cyber crime unit will be visiting schools around the region to promote the event and encourage students to enter.
Officers will also run evening workshops for teachers so they can promote the competition in their schools.
The opportunity to qualify for the live final closes on.
If you have secured a place at the final you will be notified by Friday 7th June.
Successful students will need to return their confirmation email before Friday 21st June.

The final will have activity stations for the finalists to complete as well as inputs for parents, guest speakers, food, drink and prizes.
As well as great technology prizes for the top three students in both age categories, each winning student’s school will also receive a prize consisting of software or technology.
